Dr. Gabor Maté is a Hungarian-Canadian physician, author, and speaker renowned for his work on addiction, trauma, stress, and childhood development. Born in 1944 during the Holocaust, his early experiences of trauma shaped his perspective on the mind-body connection and the impact of early childhood stress on lifelong health.
